Yes. Optimize calculates entitlements based on service and grade, and this is adjusted according to whole time equivalent, along with factors such as whether public holidays are included or not, and whether any leave is to be carried forward from the previous year. To make things easier, the details of how the entitlement is worked out are available to the individual and to the manager.
Yes. A new record is created for the relevant date, and annual leave is apportioned appropriately. Similarly, when staff join or leave during the course of the year, their annual leave is calculated and apportioned.
Optimize shows at a glance the status of annual leave booked, taken and remaining. This is available by individual and for the work group as a whole. It’s also possible to set leave targets for each roster period – for example, you may set higher targets in the summer months and lower targets over the Christmas/New Year period.
